The Spirit of This Policy

Chrono Calc is a simple time calculator. We want our privacy practices to be easy to understand: the native app is built to avoid collecting data for Auxiliary Development LLC—your calculations stay on your device, and we do not operate a custom app backend that receives calculator inputs from the app.

In plain language:

  • Calculator work happens on your device. Time values, durations, offsets, and related inputs are processed locally so you get results. We do not currently transmit that calculator content from the app to Auxiliary Development LLC or to a custom backend we operate for Chrono Calc.
  • Limited state may be stored only on your device. The app may keep limited state (for example, recent calculator state, history, preferences, or interface state) so sessions can resume after multitasking, relaunching, or normal iOS lifecycle events.
  • No account is required. We do not currently provide user accounts inside Chrono Calc or collect profile information in the app for our own use.
  • No third-party ads, analytics, or purchase SDKs in the app. Chrono Calc does not currently display third-party advertisements, use Google AdMob or similar ad SDKs, use third-party analytics SDKs, or use RevenueCat (or another third-party purchase-management SDK) inside the app.
  • The app is sold through Apple. Chrono Calc is currently offered as a one-time paid download through the Apple App Store. Apple may process purchase, download, update, refund, tax, fraud-prevention, diagnostic, and related information according to Apple’s own policies.
  • External links are separate. If you open our feedback page, another website, or use the iOS share sheet, that activity may involve information handled by your browser, Apple, or those services—not by the on-device calculator itself.
  • We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.

This summary is provided to help you understand our privacy approach. The full Privacy Policy below controls if there is any conflict between this summary and the detailed terms.

1. Overview

Chrono Calc is a simple time calculator app. It helps users calculate time values, durations, offsets, and related time-based information.

Auxiliary Development LLC respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed on your device, what may be handled by Apple or external sites you choose to open, and the choices you have.

2. Information Processed by Chrono Calc

Chrono Calc allows you to enter and calculate time values, durations, and related time-based information.

These calculations are processed locally on your device.

Chrono Calc may store limited app state locally—such as recent calculator state, history, preferences, or interface state—so the app can restore your session after multitasking, relaunching, or normal iOS app lifecycle events.

This locally stored information is not currently transmitted to Auxiliary Development LLC or to a custom backend for Chrono Calc.

The app may use device-provided time, locale, calendar, or time zone settings when needed for calculator functionality. These values are used on your device to provide time-related features.

3. Accounts

Chrono Calc does not currently require or provide user accounts.

We do not currently collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, profile photos, contact lists, or similar account information inside the app for Auxiliary Development LLC.

4. Purchases and Payments

Chrono Calc is currently offered as a one-time paid app through the Apple App Store.

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Auxiliary Development LLC does not receive or store your full payment card information.

Apple may process purchase, payment, tax, fraud prevention, refund, and transaction information according to Apple’s own privacy practices and legal obligations.

Chrono Calc does not currently use RevenueCat or any other third-party purchase-management SDK inside the app.

5. Advertising

Chrono Calc does not currently display third-party advertisements.

Chrono Calc does not currently use Google AdMob, the Google Mobile Ads SDK, advertising mediation networks, or personalized advertising SDKs.

Chrono Calc does not currently request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission for advertising purposes.

6. Analytics and Tracking

Chrono Calc does not currently use third-party analytics SDKs inside the app.

Chrono Calc does not currently track users across other companies’ apps or websites for Auxiliary Development LLC.

Chrono Calc does not currently collect advertising identifiers in the app for us, create advertising profiles for us, or use in-app data for targeted advertising on our behalf.

7. Location

Chrono Calc does not currently request access to your device’s precise location.

Chrono Calc does not currently use Core Location, GPS, Bluetooth location, Wi‑Fi location, or similar device location services for app functionality.

As described in Section 2, the app may rely on device-provided time, locale, calendar, or time zone settings locally when needed for time calculations.

8. Feedback and External Links

Chrono Calc may include links that open outside the app—such as the Chrono Calc feedback page (auxiliary.dev/chronocalc/feedback) or app sharing links.

If you open an external website, your browser and that website may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, device information, or information you choose to submit. Any information submitted through an external website or feedback form is handled separately from the native Chrono Calc app and according to the practices applicable to that website or form.

Chrono Calc may use the native iOS share sheet to let you share the app URL. Chrono Calc does not collect the recipients, message contents, or destination apps you choose through the iOS share sheet.

9. Third-Party Services

Chrono Calc does not currently use third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or third-party purchase-management SDKs inside the app.

The app is distributed through Apple’s App Store, and Apple may process information related to app purchase, download, updates, refunds, crash reporting, diagnostics, and App Store operation according to Apple’s own policies.

10. How Information Is Used

Information stored locally by Chrono Calc on your device is used only as needed to:

  • Provide time calculator functionality
  • Restore calculator state or history
  • Save app preferences
  • Improve the usability of the app on your device

Chrono Calc does not currently transmit calculator entries, calculator history, or app state from the app to a custom Auxiliary Development LLC backend for Chrono Calc.

11. Data Sharing

Chrono Calc does not currently sell, rent, or share user data collected from the native app for Auxiliary Development LLC, because the native app does not currently send that kind of data to us.

Information processed by Apple through the App Store is handled by Apple according to Apple’s own privacy practices.

Information you choose to submit through an external website or feedback form may be processed separately according to the privacy practices applicable to that website or form.

12. Data Retention

Chrono Calc may retain local app state, preferences, or calculator history on your device until deleted by you, overwritten by normal app use, reset by the app, or removed when the app is deleted.

Auxiliary Development LLC does not currently maintain a custom server-side account database or server-side calculator history for Chrono Calc based on app-transmitted calculator content.

Apple may retain App Store purchase and transaction information according to Apple’s own policies and legal obligations.

13. Children’s Privacy

Chrono Calc is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through the native app for Auxiliary Development LLC.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through an external Auxiliary Development LLC feedback form or website, contact us at hello@auxiliary.dev so we can review the issue and take appropriate action.

14. Future Changes

Chrono Calc may add, remove, or change features over time.

In the future, Chrono Calc could introduce optional capabilities such as cloud sync, additional feedback tools, diagnostics, analytics, advertising, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or other third-party services. If our data practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, update our App Store privacy disclosures.

Continued use of Chrono Calc after an update means you accept the revised policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Your Choices

You can delete Chrono Calc from your device at any time.

Deleting the app may remove locally stored Chrono Calc app data from your device, subject to normal iOS behavior, backups, and device settings.

You can choose whether to open external links or submit feedback through external websites.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the app, our practices, platform requirements, legal requirements, or third-party relationships.

When we update this policy, we will revise the effective date above.
