The Spirit of This Policy

Flight Release is a PDF viewer. We want our privacy practices to be easy to understand: the native app is built so that document viewing happens on your device—PDFs you open are not uploaded to Auxiliary Development LLC, and we do not operate a custom app backend that receives document content from the app.

In plain language:

  • PDF viewing happens on your device. Files you open, page contents, annotations (if any), and related viewer state are processed locally. We do not currently transmit that document content from the app to Auxiliary Development LLC or to a custom backend we operate for Flight Release.
  • No data leaves the device for our services. Flight Release does not currently send PDFs, file names you open, or viewer activity to our servers. Document data stays on your device unless you independently share it (for example, through the iOS share sheet or another app you choose).
  • Limited state may be stored only on your device. The app may keep limited state (for example, recently opened documents, last-viewed page, zoom, bookmarks, or interface preferences) so sessions can resume after multitasking, relaunching, or normal iOS lifecycle events.
  • No account is required. We do not currently provide user accounts inside Flight Release or collect profile information in the app for our own use.
  • No third-party ads, analytics, or purchase SDKs in the app. Flight Release does not currently display third-party advertisements, use Google AdMob or similar ad SDKs, use third-party analytics SDKs, or use RevenueCat (or another third-party purchase-management SDK) inside the app.
  • The app is distributed through Apple. Flight Release is offered through the Apple App Store. Apple may process purchase, download, update, refund, tax, fraud-prevention, diagnostic, and related information according to Apple’s own policies.
  • External links are separate. If you open our feedback page, another website, or use the iOS share sheet, that activity may involve information handled by your browser, Apple, or those services—not by the on-device PDF viewer itself.
  • We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.

This summary is provided to help you understand our privacy approach. The full Privacy Policy below controls if there is any conflict between this summary and the detailed terms.

1. Overview

Flight Release is a PDF viewer app. It helps users open and view PDF documents—such as flight-release paperwork and other PDFs—on their device.

Auxiliary Development LLC respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed on your device, what may be handled by Apple or external sites you choose to open, and the choices you have.

2. Information Processed by Flight Release

Flight Release allows you to open PDF files from locations you choose on your device (for example, Files, a document picker, or other iOS-provided document access).

These documents are processed locally on your device for viewing.

Flight Release may store limited app state locally—such as recently opened documents, last-viewed page, zoom, bookmarks, preferences, or interface state—so the app can restore your session after multitasking, relaunching, or normal iOS app lifecycle events.

This locally stored information is not currently transmitted to Auxiliary Development LLC or to a custom backend for Flight Release.

The app may use device-provided locale or accessibility settings when needed for viewer functionality. These values are used on your device to provide viewing features.

Flight Release does not currently upload PDFs, extract document text for our servers, or otherwise send document contents off the device to Auxiliary Development LLC.

3. Accounts

Flight Release does not currently require or provide user accounts.

We do not currently collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, profile photos, contact lists, or similar account information inside the app for Auxiliary Development LLC.

4. Purchases and Payments

Flight Release is distributed through the Apple App Store.

If you purchase the app or related App Store transactions, those purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Auxiliary Development LLC does not receive or store your full payment card information.

Apple may process purchase, payment, tax, fraud prevention, refund, and transaction information according to Apple’s own privacy practices and legal obligations.

Flight Release does not currently use RevenueCat or any other third-party purchase-management SDK inside the app.

5. Advertising

Flight Release does not currently display third-party advertisements.

Flight Release does not currently use Google AdMob, the Google Mobile Ads SDK, advertising mediation networks, or personalized advertising SDKs.

Flight Release does not currently request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission for advertising purposes.

6. Analytics and Tracking

Flight Release does not currently use third-party analytics SDKs inside the app.

Flight Release does not currently track users across other companies’ apps or websites for Auxiliary Development LLC.

Flight Release does not currently collect advertising identifiers in the app for us, create advertising profiles for us, or use in-app data for targeted advertising on our behalf.

7. Location

Flight Release does not currently request access to your device’s precise location.

Flight Release does not currently use Core Location, GPS, Bluetooth location, Wi‑Fi location, or similar device location services for app functionality.

8. Files and Photos

Flight Release may access PDF files you explicitly choose to open, using iOS document-access mechanisms.

The app does not currently request access to your entire photo library for its core PDF-viewing functionality. If a future version uses additional file or media permissions, we will request them only when needed for a feature you use.

Documents you open remain under your control on the device (and in any locations you originally stored them). Auxiliary Development LLC does not currently receive copies of those files from the app.

9. Feedback and External Links

Flight Release may include links that open outside the app—such as the Flight Release feedback page (auxiliary.dev/flightrelease/feedback) or app sharing links.

If you open an external website, your browser and that website may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, device information, or information you choose to submit. Any information submitted through an external website or feedback form is handled separately from the native Flight Release app and according to the practices applicable to that website or form.

Flight Release may use the native iOS share sheet to let you share a document or the app URL. Flight Release does not collect the recipients, message contents, or destination apps you choose through the iOS share sheet. If you share a PDF through the share sheet, that document is provided to the destination you select, under that destination’s practices—not uploaded to Auxiliary Development LLC by Flight Release.

10. Third-Party Services

Flight Release does not currently use third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or third-party purchase-management SDKs inside the app.

The app is distributed through Apple’s App Store, and Apple may process information related to app purchase, download, updates, refunds, crash reporting, diagnostics, and App Store operation according to Apple’s own policies.

11. How Information Is Used

Information stored locally by Flight Release on your device is used only as needed to:

  • Open and display PDF documents
  • Restore viewer state (for example, page position or recent files)
  • Save app preferences
  • Improve the usability of the app on your device

Flight Release does not currently transmit PDFs, document contents, recent-file lists, or app state from the app to a custom Auxiliary Development LLC backend for Flight Release.

12. Data Sharing

Flight Release does not currently sell, rent, or share user data collected from the native app for Auxiliary Development LLC, because the native app does not currently send that kind of data to us.

Information processed by Apple through the App Store is handled by Apple according to Apple’s own privacy practices.

Information you choose to submit through an external website or feedback form may be processed separately according to the privacy practices applicable to that website or form.

13. Data Retention

Flight Release may retain local app state, preferences, or recent-document information on your device until deleted by you, overwritten by normal app use, reset by the app, or removed when the app is deleted.

Auxiliary Development LLC does not currently maintain a custom server-side account database or server-side document store for Flight Release based on app-transmitted PDF content.

Apple may retain App Store purchase and transaction information according to Apple’s own policies and legal obligations.

14. Children’s Privacy

Flight Release is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through the native app for Auxiliary Development LLC.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through an external Auxiliary Development LLC feedback form or website, contact us at hello@auxiliary.dev so we can review the issue and take appropriate action.

15. Future Changes

Flight Release may add, remove, or change features over time.

In the future, Flight Release could introduce optional capabilities such as cloud sync, additional feedback tools, diagnostics, analytics, advertising, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or other third-party services. If our data practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, update our App Store privacy disclosures.

Continued use of Flight Release after an update means you accept the revised policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.

16. Your Choices

You can delete Flight Release from your device at any time.

Deleting the app may remove locally stored Flight Release app data from your device, subject to normal iOS behavior, backups, and device settings. Original PDF files stored elsewhere on your device (for example, in Files) are not automatically deleted just because you delete Flight Release, unless those files existed only inside the app’s own container.

You can choose whether to open external links or submit feedback through external websites.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the app, our practices, platform requirements, legal requirements, or third-party relationships.

When we update this policy, we will revise the effective date above.
